What is Fund for Wisconsin Scholars (FFWS)?
Fund for Wisconsin Scholars (FFWS) provides need-based grants to randomly selected, recent graduates of Wisconsin public high schools who are starting their first year of attendance at a UW four-year institution to earn an undergraduate baccalaureate degree.
Within the Office of Experiential Learning, FFWS at UW Madison offers access to a community of over 800 scholars and campus events hosted by our peer mentor team. Our five peer mentors are available to meet one-on-one with all students year-round, and all first years are assigned a peer mentor and are expected to meet with them once a semester. Learn more about our peer mentor team here!
