- Fill out our Get to Know You form to help us pair you with a peer mentor.

- Attend our Kickoff event on Wednesday, October 7th, 2026 from 5:30-7:30pm at the H.F. DeLuca Forum in the Discovery Building. We’ll have food, games, and you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the grant & connect with your peers! RSVP HERE!
What is Fund for Wisconsin Scholars (FFWS)?
Fund for Wisconsin Scholars (FFWS) provides need-based grants to randomly selected, recent graduates of Wisconsin public high schools who are starting their first year of attendance at a UW four-year institution to earn an undergraduate baccalaureate degree.
Within the Office of Experiential Learning, FFWS at UW Madison offers access to a community of over 800 scholars and campus events hosted by our peer mentor team. Our five peer mentors are available to meet one-on-one with all students year-round, and all first years are assigned a peer mentor and are expected to meet with them once a semester.
